  • Republican Prez Candidates Reject 10:1 Spending Cuts to Tax Increase Ratio

When given the option to accept a debt reduction plan that provided for 10x debt reduction to every 1x tax increase, they all refused.

This clearly indicates that the new Republican mindset is devoid of any rational thinking and are quite unwilling and incapable of working with Dems and Independents to reach a reasonable compromise. This is not how one should be leading/governing. This is the type of thinking that results in the entire country being held hostage by refusing to raise the debt ceiling unless demands are met.

All I can say is that if we elect any of these to the White House, then we the people deserve whatever happens to Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, Medicare,Medicaid, and any other benefits that will surely be on the chopping block to pay for the all the corporate tax cuts and farm/oil subsidies.

With the additional tax cuts, jobs will certainly be created, just not in America since Americans are too expensive to hire when you factor in minimum wages, mandatory safe work environments, insurance, etc. Why hire an American when you are free to hire outside the country where people have no such protections and work for as little as a few dollars for an entire day (average daily wage in Mexico is $5/day... even less in some Asian countries)?

It's a sign of government EPIC fail but some people are too stubborn to realize that until post voting those Republicans in. Many people stick to core beliefs but they ignore the personal effect of these core beliefs. Esp. if you're middleclass. The government only wants to help the rich (because w/o corporate earnings, we would go into a recession) and the poor.  The middleclass? NADA.
