  • Elizabeth Warren Grills the Banking Regulators

New Senator Elizabeth Warren questioned all the banking regulators last week.

If you are as disgusted as I am about no criminal charges being brought against Wall Street banks for their integral part in the financial meltdown we are suffering from, you’ll find this clip quite refreshing:

    You go Senator!!!

  • In this video, I see the Comptroller of currency Tom Curry, and Chairman of Securities and Exchange Elisse Walter I see they either dance around the question or they say that it is impractical to sue Wall St. banks (not exactly in those words). And it all links back to what Senator Elizabeth Warren is trying to point out that these banks’ influence is so big that people are unwilling to fight against, to bring them to justice and prosecute them for the crimes they committed against the American people. Those people trying to cover for the big financial institutions and banks should be ashamed of themselves. If they need to make an example for people, they should uphold the constitutional idea that everybody is treated equally under the law, especially for the bank and financial owners.

But as far as United States government is concerned at the moment, Obama doesn’t seem too incline to bring the rest of us what we deserve. Instead he continues to sugar coat our problems and divert our attention to energy efficiency and self-sufficiency. (Not that it isn’t important.)
Thanks for the video! If was certainly refreshing. I hope the Senator can continue to uphold those values, and not bow down to those who abuse power and exploit the weak!
